Waypoint 1: This is a germinal center within a normal human tonsil. The germinal center itself is characterized by proliferating immune cells high in `Ki-67`, the surface of the epithelial crypt by `Keratin` expression, and blood vessels by the presence of `α-SMA`. Immune cells of various types expressing `CD45` are present throughout the tissue. Waypoint 2: B-Cells expressing `CD20` are enriched in the germinal center, whereas `CD3D`-positive T-Cells are mostly confined to the surrounding tissue. Two subsets of T-Cells are highlighted here: T-Helper cells which express both `CD3D` and `CD4` appear yellow, and Cytotoxic T-Cells which express both `CD3D` and `CD8A` appear violet. Note that DNA is not depicted in this image.
